Pode chamar de ‘macho’? Feminismo radical, tática e estratégia

Continuando a nossa semana especial sobre feminismo bonzinho e feminismo do mal, não poderíamos deixar de falar sobre uma questão que também apareceu bastante nos comentários sobre dossiê da QG: a de que usar aquele tom não seria “estratégico”.

Na luta de classes todas as armas são boas: pedras, noites, poemas.

Da próxima vez que alguém falar que algo “não é estratégico”, pare e pergunte: mas qual a estratégia? Se a resposta para essa pergunta não vier ou você ficar confusa, faça esse outro exercício mental: como decidir se algo é “estratégico” quando não se definiu antes uma estratégia?

Essa discussão dentro do feminismo radical aparece sempre que vemos algum texto mais raivoso ou falas e comentários que vão direto ao ponto. As reações costumam se dividir em dois campos: as pessoas que defendem um tom moderado como “estratégico” e aquelas outras que afirmam que pensar estratégica é bobagem, importante mesmo é falar as coisas como elas são.

Bom, mas e aí? O que é estratégico e o que não é? Como a gente pode responder essa pergunta?

Vamos começar aqui falando sobre o que uma estratégia não é:

A estratégia não é o objetivo

Estratégia é o mapa que te leva de onde você está até um ponto no futuro em que as coisas vão estar diferentes, buscando transformar as condições por meio de ações pensadas e coordenadas. Se seu objetivo é que as pessoas concordem com você, ou deixem de taxar como violência o que você pensa e diz, pode ter mais de um caminho pra chegar lá, incluindo alguns não óbvios: nem sempre um tom pacífico vai conseguir combater a violência alheia.

Estratégia não é algo pronto ou óbvio

Dizer que algo é “estratégico” só significa dizer que cabe dentro de uma estratégia específica. Quando ela não foi definida de antemão, isso não significa nada. A estratégia de um movimento tem que ser definida coletivamente por meio de debates – como os que estamos fazendo no Blogueiras com vocês – e aplicada também coletivamente pra dar resultado. Quando temos várias pessoas palpitando sobre algo ser estratégico ou não, mas não conseguimos juntar as ideias numa síntese, também não temos uma estratégia, só ideias soltas e mal organizadas.

Estratégia não é um único modo de agir

Dentro de uma estratégia cabem várias táticas, que devem ser selecionadas dentro de um campo de possibilidades pré-definidas (contidas no mapa, que é a estratégia) ede acordo com o contexto – a situação, o momento, um público alvo específico. Cada situação pede um jeito de agir, e a forma de saber se essa tática é estratégica ou não é consultar a estratégia: qual o caminho que traçamos para chegar nos nossos objetivos? Só tendo a visão do todo é possível fazer essa avaliação.

Ok, entendi. Mas então, qual a estratégia do feminismo radical?

Aqui no Brasil a gente não tem uma boa coesão do campo político que chamamos de feminismo radical. Temos poucas organizações (entre coletivas, páginas nas mídias sociais, e outras iniciativas), que dialogam pouco entre si (por enquanto!), e existe uma dificuldade muito grande para fazer esses debates e definir uma estratégia única para o movimento. Ou seja, cada organização que conseguiu fazer esse debate tem a sua própria estratégia. Temos publicações feministas radicais que fizeram a opção de não se dizerem abertamente ‘feministas radicais’, preferindo falar que são ‘materialistas’ como forma de despistar o ódio e falar de pautas radicais sem esbarrar na rejeição prévia que o nome da vertente carrega. A estratégia é convencer pelas ideias, abandonando a identidade política para só então reivindicar o feminismo radical. É uma opção.

Temos também as coletivas, que se dizem abertamente feministas radicais e aplicam uma estratégia focada em trabalho de base e organização popular. Por entenderem que, ainda que a disputa ideológica seja sim central, só conseguimos colher os frutos dela se tivermos junto um acúmulo organizativo – ou seja, se o convencimento pelas ideias também trouxer pessoas que topem dedicar seu tempo e sua energia em ações coordenadas de médio e longo prazo, que pressupõem um envolvimento maior da pessoa, e portanto necessitam que ela faça parte da lógica de uma organização, que envolve constância na participação e uma divisão de tarefas bem feita.

E o que isso tem a ver com usar ou não pronome “errado” ou nome de registro de pessoas trans?

Como falamos lá no começo da semana, essa série aqui tem o objetivo de explicar porque não temos tanta diferença assim com outras pessoas e páginas radicais que são mais sangue nozói pra falar de assuntos polêmicos (aguardem, teremos ter textos bem incendiários aqui logo, logo 🔥). Puxamos essa discussão sobre estratégia e tática pra dialogar sobre o incômodo que a linguagem no texto da QG Feminista causou entre as feministas radicais, algumas das quais vieram na nossa inbox ressaltar a diferença e elogiar nosso tom moderado e “pacífico”.

Se, como explicamos, a estratégia é o mapa que criamos pra nos levar de onde estamos até onde a gente quer chegar (incluindo aí diversas etapas e também vários jeitos diferentes de andar – alguns até ao mesmo tempo), quer dizer que precisamos julgar se algo é estratégico ou não com base em se está de acordo com uma estratégia. E julgamos a estratégia em si com base em estar ou não funcionando, dentro dos objetivos definidos – se estamos de fato aproximando do ponto final do mapa.

Nossos valores éticos e a moral feminista que buscamos construir também fazem parte da estratégia – por isso não podemos cair num pragmatismo como as americanas ou parte das brasileiras que defendem “sair da esquerda” e fazer alianças com conservadores como a Janaína Paschoal pra barrar reformas pró-transgênero. Alianças táticas, como chamamos, podem sim ser feitas, mas o critério pra elas é não romper com a nossa estratégia (e não abandonar a nossa ideologia), senão é ganhar aqui pra perder lá na frente. Dito isso, a melhor estratégia é sempre a que funciona. Não podemos perder tempo com purismo ideológico ou sectarismo, esperando as condições perfeitas para atuar, ou que as pessoas desenvolvam sua consciência sozinhas pra só então irmos até elas.

Entenda: a tarefa de uma ativista não é negociar com os sistemas de opressão pela maior integridade individual possível – é destruir esses sistemas.

Uma estratégia para o feminismo radical brasileiro: a proposta das Blogueiras Radicais

Nossa visão pra um feminismo radical unido e forte é pública, e está no editorial de inauguração, que é o nosso manifesto. Lá a gente faz uma defesa daquele primeiro momento de rebeldia quando o feminismo radical chegou com força no Brasil, quando a raiva que a gente estava sentindo dos ataques do movimento trans causou uma explosão caracterizada por muitos como violenta. Pra gente, de violenta não teve nada, e foi uma explosão cheia de paixão e declarações de amor pela classe das mulheres, uma época de defesa intransigente do feminismo. Queremos trazer de volta aquele espírito, somando a experiência política que acumulamos desde então.

Pra gente, o caminho é esse: disputar os corações e as mentes das mulheres, oferecendo uma alternativa à distopia do gênero com seu consumismo e medicalização da não-conformidade (que é característica fundamental do feminismo). Num primeiro momento, o importante era fazer as ideias feministas radicais circularem na esfera pública, independente de aceitação. Precisávamos de visibilidade, mesmo com uma rejeição violenta. Quando a gente para pra pensar na nossa própria trajetória, percebemos que foi em meio a reações violentas contra o discurso radical que muitas de nós acordamos para o que estava acontecendo. A linha malvadona e desbocada funcionou.

Também é verdade que um tom mais moderado funcionou pra outras mulheres, que se abriram mais com argumentos bem embasados em evidências e uma linguagem menos inflamada. Tudo depende do perfil das pessoas específicas que queremos atingir. O objetivo é atingir todas, e como as pessoas são diferentes, dentro de uma mesma estratégia precisamos usar várias táticas. Não existe melhor nem pior, existe o que funciona e o que não funciona pra um determinado público ou contexto. Precisamos sim de posts informativos, com linguagem mais amena, pessoas com mais paciência pra explicar e dialogar com as diferenças. Mas também precisamos de agitadoras! Botar fogo no parquinho é fundamental – se tem um movimento que reconhece o poder de uma minoria de radicais com boas ideias e muita vontade, é o nosso.

Entendemos que agora, graças ao trabalho das coletivas e também das influenciadoras e produtoras de conteúdo feminista radical, chegamos num ponto em que as ideias circulam bem e começam a ser aceitadas por uma pequena parte do movimento. Estaríamos agora então no momento de aproveitar essa mudança conjuntural para nos tornarmos de fato uma força política relevante e capaz de intervir na sociedade. Pra isso, temos que olhar pra dentro. Precisamos agitar as nossas bases, emocionar e empolgar as pessoas para que elas sintam que fazer parte de um movimento feminista radical não é apenas possível, como também inevitável.

A última mulher que andou na linha o trem passou por cima

É a hora de soltar toda a raiva que temos guardado e tudo que deixamos de dizer e fazer, mesmo sendo o correto e o justo, para tentar parecermos mais razoáveis para aquelas pessoas que têm ignorado a razão e apoiado absurdos. É a hora de textos incendiários, de defesas apaixonadas do feminismo, do lesbianismo, do direito de gritar.

Para nós, parece que aquele texto da QG que causou tantos incômodos – intencionalmente ou não – cumpre essa função de agitação e propaganda. A reação das lésbicas contra aqueles que defendem que o lesbianismo e o feminismo não modificado não têm mais espaço na sociedade mostra que temos espaço sim, e que ele está crescendo. Textos como aquele animam pela sua ousadia – ainda que causem em algumas muito desconforto. Romper com o medo e o silêncio é assustador.

Nem sempre a função principal do texto é informativa, e não dá pra julgar o mérito de um texto sem pensar no seu objetivo. Nesse caso, a raiva e o ressentimento com os ataques à sexualidade lésbica e a autonomia feminina são marcantes em cada letra, cada ponto e cada vírgula. Em cada nome civil citado, a linguagem reforça o tom da denúncia expressando um fato fundamental: não é uma reação contra pessoas trans, é uma reação contra homens, contra machos, contra pessoas do sexo masculino. Não é transfobia. Pouca gente acusaria o texto da QG de ‘misandria’ (que não existe), mas ao usar a linguagem que hoje é considerada apropriada, caímos sem querer no alvo das acusações: deixamos de nomear o problema – que são homens que tentam se passar por lésbicas e reconfigurar toda a sexualidade lésbica para acomodá-los – e passamos a realmente referenciar pessoas trans. Como argumentar que não se trata do fantasma da transfobia, que ronda o feminismo e tenta o invalidar, se falarmos contra pessoas trans e não contra homens?

A função desses textos parece ser incitar, denunciar e dar vazão à raiva que todas nós sentimos, dando corpo ao sentimento que compartilhamos ao ler o absurdo do termo ‘genitalésbicas’ e a negação moralista da sexualidade lésbica ao dizer que não nos relacionamos com genitais, e sim com pessoas (lésbicas fazem sexo! e nossas vulvas, dedos, línguas, coxas e bocas são partes fundamentais disso). E nisso o texto da QG foi extremamente bem sucedido, ajudando a amplificar a reação que mostrou, finalmente, que muitas lésbicas não toleram esse discurso e essa prática política anti-lésbica. Mulheres – todas elas, não só as lésbicas – têm o direito e o dever de nomear o problema e se rebelar contra a repressão masculina. Esse é o fundamento do feminismo, não é contrário a ele. A raiva e a rebeldia, já dissemos em nosso manifesto, são o melhor de nós.

Às vezes nos sentimos traídas por aquelas que usaram dizer o que pensamos sozinhas, julgando não ser possível – ou estratégico – propagandear em público. Mas essas mulheres corajosas que arriscam suas reputações e sua saúde são os motores empurrando o feminismo pra frente contra o peso da opressão patriarcal. Para o feminismo radical brasileiro, chegou a hora de quebrar as correntes – incluindo as da linguagem. É a hora de abandonar o cuidado excessivo a que fomos forçadas e começar a nomear o problema. Viva o feminismo radical! Viva a rebeldia das mulheres!

  2. Adorei o texto, me causa grande desconforto mulheres que se consideram feministas radicais somando ao coro que nos acusa de transfóbicas. No fundo, talvez só seja uma face da necessidade de aprovação masculina. Sob o escudo do transativismo, homens estão conseguindo fazer a lesbofobia cada vez mais aceita dentro da comunidade GBT (tive que ler esses dias que “se uma terf me chama de lesbofóbico é porque estou fazendo algo certo”)
