Contra o linchamento virtual de Gisela

No mês da visibilidade, teve de tudo. Aliás, de quase tudo. Teve a polêmica eterna de “e as bi?”, teve a polêmica de “sapatão, é só pra lésbica?”, teve a polêmica “mas o quão lésbica é?”, e algumas outras. O que não teve, mesmo, foi visibilidade lésbica.

Quem tentou se organizar pra criar conteúdo sobre lesbianismo e sobre lésbicas tomou crítica, xingo, chantagem emocional e chororô. Até nós aqui, que só queríamos exaltar as lésbicas e seu papel central no feminismo, desagradamos um bocado. Mas já estamos acostumadas, e as discordâncias permaneceram no terreno da “civilidade”.

Já em outras situações, as discordâncias vieram em tom de agressividade e violência. A carta que trazemos aqui foi escrita pela Gisela Carvalho Santos, mulher lésbica, negra e feminista. Em pleno agosto lésbico, ela sofreu um linchamento virtual por ter tido a audácia de, vejam bem, dizer que lésbicas “cis” deveriam ter o direito de se auto organizarem em espaços exclusivos.

No moinho da opressão, parece ter lugar pra todo mundo. Pra quem tem gatilho com qualquer coisa que lhe desagrade, pra quem quer brincar de criar 58 gêneros novos por dia no Tumblr e forçar o resto das pessoas a se engajarem na brincadeira, pra quem fetichiza lésbicas, pra quem tem vicio em pornografia… só não tem lugar mesmo, pra lésbicas. Aí já é demais.

O que ocorreu com a Gisela mostra de maneira clara aquilo que a gente sempre falou aqui no Blogueiras: se você é lésbica, ou você é invisível, ou é odiada.

Mas como por aqui já estamos todas acostumadas e calejadas, seguimos dizendo o que é certo, doa a quem doer. E é por isso que publicamos o relato da Gisela, e dizemos em alto e bom som que ela está sendo vítima da lesbofobia e misoginia característica do movimento GBT. E por isso, seguimos na luta ao seu lado, #todasporgisela!

Meu nome é Gisela Carvalho Santos, sou terapeuta ocupacional e idealizadora do Resiliência Espaço Cultural & Atelier. O espaço foi criado em 2015, após eu ter sido demitida do Programa de Atendimento Domiciliar ao Idoso (PADI), onde fui vítima de assédio moral, racismo e lesbofobia.

Tentei retornar ao mercado de trabalho, mas tinha completado 50 anos, sou negra e inquestionavelmente lésbica. Meu currículo até chegava a ser selecionado para a entrevista, mas eu nunca era chamada depois de eles me verem.

Procurei, então, reconstruir minha vida por outros meios. Pensei em trabalhar em casa e, como na época não tinha conhecimento de trabalho pela internet, decidi criar, na garagem da minha casa, um lugar que seria uma mistura de bar e centro cultural e é dessa forma que tenho tentado sobreviver desde então.

O Resiliência Espaço Cultural & Atelier está localizado no subúrbio do Rio de Janeiro, bairro Vila da Penha, ou seja, fora do circuito LGBT mais procurado desta cidade (centro). Por isso, minha tentativa de sobrevivência com esse novo negócio nunca foi fácil.

Por causa da pandemia, estamos desde março sem funcionar. Nossos recursos vêm através de doações em dinheiro ou cestas básicas de amigos, clientes, apoiadores, e de ocasionais venda de quadros feitos por mim.

Em agosto, no mês da Visibilidade Lésbica organizei uma série de lives no Instagram e convidei lésbicas para que falássemos sobre nossas vidas e história na militância lésbica, como por exemplo Rosângela Castro e Virgínia Figueiredo.

Tudo ia bem até o dia 21 de agosto, quando publiquei um card em que dizia: “Cis, não há nada de errado em nos reunirmos a sós”. Foi o suficiente para a página das plataformas no Instagram e Facebook receberem ataques de pessoas afirmando que eu teria sido transfóbica.

Por esta razão, venho aqui denunciar as ameaças que sofri, muitas vezes aliadas a atos de racismo e lesbofobia. A minha história faz parte da estatística que não é analisada, mas é facilmente verificada ao pensar com quantas lésbicas não feminilizadas, butches, caminhoneiras, dikes; você trabalha, ou sabe ter um bom emprego.

O objetivo dessa carta é registrar as diversas ameaças que recebi, com conteúdos de agressão física, de morte, racistas, lesbofóbicos e, claro, boicote ao meu estabelecimento comercial. Boicote que não se vê em relação a nenhum estabelecimento comercial preconceituoso no circuito LGBT da Lapa ou de Madureira.

Obviamente e como qualquer pessoa, mulheres trans merecem respeito e em toda a história da existência do Resiliência Espaço Cultural & Atelier nunca houve qualquer situação de discriminação contra elas ou quaisquer pessoas.

Isso ilustra o quão difícil é, para lésbicas, nos reunirmos para discutir nossas pautas específicas, como qualquer outro grupo.

Existem inúmeros projetos, editais, vagas de emprego, programas de tv e festas exclusivas para pessoas trans e nesses 6 anos de desemprego desconheço algo semelhante para lésbicas cis, apesar de também estarmos em risco constante, de exclusão familiar, desemprego, morte e muitas outras violências.

O histórico de ameaças ou atos de violência física à lésbicas cis tem sido acompanhado por posturas omissas por muitos dentro da comunidade LGBT, como foi o caso do grupo de whatsapp da organização do 8M em 2018, quando uma mulher foi ameaçada por uma mulher trans e esta sequer foi expulsa da organização.

Antes que meu caso seja desvalorizado ou esquecido, com a possibilidade do meu assassinato, entendo que é imprescindível que reconheçamos que vidas lésbicas importam também – e igualmente. E, sinceramente, gostaria de entender o que há de errado em reuniões exclusivamente de mulheres cis.

Acredito honestamente que há espaço para todas, mas tenho a sensação de que não é o desejo de grande parte da militância LGBT e nem de muitos políticos de esquerda.

É importante que todos saibam que lésbicas necessitam que suas existências sejam acolhidas também, que nossas humanidades também sejam validadas por todos. Políticas públicas devem e têm que ser para todos.
